At the outset of this project, we identified a significant opportunity above the flat ceiling—a pitched or vaulted roof that was largely hidden and underutilized. Upon inspection, we discovered that the insulation in this area was inadequate, leading to cold spots and substantial heat loss during the winter months. To address these issues, we recommended a plan to our customer that not only involved maximizing this wasted space but also properly insulating the area. Additionally, we proposed the installation of two Velux windows to enhance natural light in the room. The results speak for themselves—this investment has truly transformed the room's dynamics and overall ambiance.

This comprehensive project included a variety of key improvements:

• Complete rewiring of the ground floor electrical systems.
• Removal of an internal wall to create a seamless, open-plan space between the kitchen and dining room.
• Elevation of the existing floor to align with the living room and kitchen floor heights.
• Full replastering of the ground floor and the boarding of the extension.
• Supply and fitting of new bi-fold doors and PVC windows.
• Removal of the old kitchen and the installation of a brand-new Wren kitchen.
